Rankings Analysis: 22 Mar 10

The men's rankings for the week of March 22nd can be found multiple places, but ESPN's are here.

-The big news is Murray moving past Nadal into #3 since Nadal was unable to defend.  This could, however, be just a temporary move since Murray has the Miami title to defend.
-The only other movement in the top 10 was Tsonga replacing Gonzalez at #10.
-Ljubicic grabs 13 places, WOW, and is up to #13 in the world after his Indian Wells title.
-Berdych ascends 5 places and is now at #20.
-Wawrinka, Simon, Querrey, and Hewitt each dived 3 or 4 spots.
-Baghdatis improves 3 spots and would now be seeded at #30.
-Kohlschreiber drops out of the top 32 to #33
(We care about the top 32 because those, barring injuries, will be the seeds at the slams.)

The women's ranking can be on ESPN, or other places of course.

-Big news also on the women's side:  Wozniacki has moved past Safina and Kuznetsova into the #2 spot.  (However, Kuzzy remains the top seed for Miami because the seeds had already been posted.)
-Dementieva is back to #6, flipping spots with now #7 Azarenka.
-Jankovic is back to #8 thanks to her Indian Wells title, she flips with now #9 Radwanska.
-Also Stosur enters the top 10 at #10, and Li falls to #11.
-Lots of movement by a spot or two in the top 32.
-Zheng is up 4 and Kleybanova is up 5 to 19 and 23, respectively.
-Zvonareva falls to #23 after failing to defend at Indian Wells.  She was in the top 10 all of last year.
-Martinez Sanchez and Kirilenko each up 6 to 27 and 30, respectively.
-Justine Henin FINALLY enters the rankings at #33.
-Pavlyuchenkova drops 10 after failing to defend her semi to #35.
-And perhaps the worst news of all, Ivanovic is now world no. 58, falling 30 spots, after failing to defend her Indian Wells final.
