WTA Birth Year Top 10 Updated

The WTA Top 10 by Birth Year page has been updated to the rankings after Miami, this post is a few days late.  The early 80s have been rapidly surrendering top 100 spots to those born in the early 90s.  There are 16 women in the top 100 born after 1991, while 40 women in the top 100 were born in the 90s.  Meanwhile, only 17 were born before 1985.

Here is the breakdown of players in the WTA top 100 by birth year:

- 1
- 2
- 2
- 5
- 3
- 4
- 7
- 8
- 12
- 8
- 8
- 13
- 11
- 5
- 5
- 3
- 2
- 1

I have a couple comments about those numbers on the Top 10 by Birth Year page, but feel free to draw your own conclusions and comment if you want.  Here are the 14 players, which is high number, that entered or left the top 100 since the year end 2012 rankings, which was the last time I ran these stats.
