Rafael Nadal defeates Tomas Berdych 6-3, 7-5, 6-4
This is his 8th Slam title and 2nd at Wimbledon, moving him into a tie for 7th all time. He is now tied with Connors, Lendl, and Agassi while still trailing Roger Federer, Pete Sampras, Roy Emerson, Bjorn Borg, Rod Laver, and Bill Tilden.
He now has a firm grip on the world no. 1, leading Djokovic by nearly 4,000 points.
