I apologize for the lack of content here but I have been busy with work and haven't had adequate time. For now, this will have to do.
Men's Semifinals:
1) Rafael Nadal (ESP) vs. 12) Mikhail Youzhny (RUS)
2) Roger Federer (SUI) vs. 3) Novak Djokovic (SRB)
It looks as if we may finally get the Federer-Nadal final we've been waiting for though both Djokovic and Youzhny are playing pretty well (you can't quite count them out). The winner of the Federer-Djokovic match will be #2 in the rankings. Youzhny is up to #9 and Ferrer is #10, past Roddick. Both Nadal and Djokovic have successfully defended semifinal points.
Women's Semifinals:
1) Caroline Wozniacki (DEN) vs. 7) Vera Zvonareva (RUS)
2) Kim Clijsters (BEL) vs. 3) Venus Williams (USA)
What were the chances of getting the top 3 seeds through to the semis, plus the 7 seed. I believe that would be the first time since 2009 Wimbledon there are no double-digit seeds or unseeded players in the semis. Should be a couple of great matches tomorrow. Zvonareva is up to #5 in the world and Clijsters is back up to #8. There is a pretty good chance of a rematch of last year's final.
The virtual rankings are up to date.
