Wozniacki Wins Again; Nadal and Djokovic also Champions

It was a Monday final, but that didn't stop new world #1 Caroline Wozniacki from defeating now #3 Vera Zvonareva in Beijing 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in a rematch of the US Open semis and Rogers Cup final.  Both players are in form but Caroline is even hotter, having won her sixth title of 2010, and 12th title of her career.  She defeated Errani, Kvitova, Ivanovic, 15) Peer, and 2) Zvonareva in Beijing.

The women's Premier Mandatory and Premier 5 tournaments are now complete for 2010 and here are those winners:
Dubai - Venus Williams (USA)
Indian Wells - Jelena Jankovic (SRB)
Miami - Kim Clijsters (BEL)
Rome - Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez (ESP)
Madrid - Aravane Rezai (FRA)
Cincinatti - Kim Clijsters (BEL)
Montreal - Caroline Wozniacki (DEN)
Tokyo - Caroline Wozniacki (DEN)
Beijing - Caroline Wozniacki (DEN)

Doha (YEC) -- ???

Assuming Serena is injured, it looks like the players in Doha will be Wozniacki, Zvonareva, Clijsters, Schiavone, Stosur, Jankovic, Dementieva, and Azarenka with Li and Peer as alternates.

Now to the ATP, where is Beijing Novak Djokovic continued his hot streak by downing David Ferrer in the final by the score of 6-2, 6-4.  The Djoker wins his 2nd title of 2010 and the 18th of his career.  Ferrer moves up to #9 in the world where he has an excellent chance of qualifying for London.  Djokovic defeated Gong, Fish (walkover), Simon, Isner, and 8) Ferrer on his way to the podium's top step.

In Tokyo, Rafael Nadal won his 7th title of 2010 and 43rd of his career by defeating Gael Monfils 6-1, 7-5 in the only Sunday final of the weekend.  Rafa is certainly showing he can win on hard courts with his second title on that surface this year.  He defeated Giraldo, Raonic, Tursunov, Troicki, and 5) Monfils en route to the championship.

Interesting to see the new women's #1 and the top two men's players living up to their seeds and winning these three tournaments.
