Miami: Men's Early Rounds

Now there has certainly been some upsets early in the men's tournament with Murray and Djokovic making early exits, and both these players seem to be moving in the wrong direction.  The giants Isner and Karlovic were also eliminated in the 3rd round.  There are just 2 unseeded players to the final 16 that includes only 5 of last years quarterfinalists.  However, both 2009 finalists (Murray and Djokovic) are out as well as one of the semifinalist (Del Potro).  Nevertheless, only 4 of the top 16 seeds are out (Monfils included) so we should still have an exciting week of tennis.

Here are your early sets from the men's draw:

2nd Round
2) Djokovic to O.Rochus, 6-4 in the 3rd; This really was a shocker, especially of the Djoker came back to win the 2nd set, **Fails to defend final**;
3) Murray to Fish, 4 and 4; **Fails to defend title**, and to a player currently out of the top 100, what is up with the Scot?
11) Ljubicic retired with a back injury to Becker; The big serving Croat probably just too tired after his Indian Wells title;
20) Simon to Zeballos, 2 and 2; Simon still winless in ATP events for 2010;
21) Querrey to Chardy, 6-2 in the 3rd; The US #3 is struggling to get momentum in 2010;
26) Montanes to Serra, 6-2 in the 3rd;
30) Troicki to Nalbandian, 6-4 in the 3rd; Upset in seed only;
31) Tipsarevic to Petzschner, 4 and 0;
32) Benneteau to Stakhovsky, 6-3, 7-6(5);

3rd Round
18) Robredo to Becker; 7-1 in 3rd set tiebreak; The Spaniard can't follow up his nice run at IW;
29) Lopez to Fish, 7-5, 6-3; Is Mardy Fish on his way back to the top 25?

Other seeds that have lost but to higher seeds include 17) Isner, 19) Wawrinka, 22) Monaco, 23) Melzer, 24) Karlovic, 25) Baghdatis, and 28) Kohlschreiber.
