I have finally updated the WTA Top 10 by birth year page you can link to on the right. It is the first update since Madrid.
In the 3 months and through the 2 slams and 2 top-level Premier tournaments that have occurred since then, the WTA Top 100 has 18 new faces. Here are those players:
23-Sabine Lisicki (GER)
48-Irina-Camelia Begu (ROU)
60-Pauline Parmentier (FRA)
68-Kateryna Bondarenko (UKR)
78-Irina Falconi (USA)
79-Tamarine Tanasugarn (THA)
80-Carla Suarez Navarro (ESP)
81-Arantxa Rus (NED)
85-Anna Tatishvili (GEO)
86-Patricia Mayr-Achleitner (AUT)
87-Galina Voskoboeva (KAZ)
90-Marina Erakovic (NZL)
91-Vesna Dolonts (RUS)
94-Mirjana Lucic (CRO)
95-Stephanie Dubois (CAN)
99-Mona Barthel (GER)
100-Anne Keothavong (THA)
And here are the eighteen that lost their spots in the Top 100:
Amanmuradova, Bacsinszky, A.Bondarenko, Chakvetadze, Flipkens, Hlavackova, Kerber, King, Lepchenko, Ondraskova, Oprandi, Oudin, Pivovarova, Rezai, Schnyder, Shvedova, Szavay, and Vandeweghe.
But who knows, there's always next week to lose your spot or gain back the one you just lost. :-)
