The WTA Top 10 by Birth Year page has been updated with the 2014 year end rankings data (from November 24, 2014). There was the usual amount of turnover in the top 100 since the week after Wimbledon, with 15 players entering or exiting the top 100. There wasn't much movement in and out of the top 100 by older players but, somewhat surprisingly, it was '89 through '91 that surrendered top 100 spots to players born in the mid-'90s. 1987 continues to be a banner year for tennis and was headlined by the strong years of Sharapova, Ivanovic, Petkovic, and Safarova. 1990 has cooled off some. It is still led by Kvitova and Wozniacki but the players behind them have seemingly plateaued. Check out the Top 10 by Birth Year page for some more analysis.
